Why choose us

Built on evidence, not guesswork

Clear pricing before we travel, a CCTV survey before every repair recommendation, and a written report on request.

Camera before conclusion

Nothing gets quoted for repair until the CCTV survey has run and the defect is coded and located.

Defect coding, not a vague description

Cracks, root ingress and displaced joints are logged against standard classifications, not summarised as "it's blocked."

A written report on every survey

Every CCTV survey can produce a report with footage, distances and defect codes.

Repair recommendations that follow the evidence

The footage decides whether a job is jetting, relining or excavation — not which crew is on the van that day.

Documentation

The Written Report Your Insurer or Managing Agent Can Act On

A managing agent, surveyor or insurer needs more than a verbal description. Our specialist drainage surveyors document the defect path, its position, and the footage they expect.

Inside the report

What a defect register actually looks like

UK drain surveys are logged against structured defect classifications — in the tradition of WRc's Manual of Sewer Condition Classification — rather than written up as a paragraph of impressions.

Every defect we log gets a code, a distance from the access point and a severity grade, so a managing agent or insurer can see exactly what was found and where. The panel opposite shows the format on a sample entry.

SeverityMedium — service condition grade 3

Illustrative entry — codes, distances and severity grades are recorded per property on the day of your survey.

Before we arrive

4 Things to Do Before We Arrive

None of them require a plumber, and each one helps the survey run faster.

Stop using the drain

A dry line gives the camera a clearer picture — avoid running water or flushing until the survey is done.

Clear access to the manhole

Move bins, planters or parked vehicles away from covers so we can get the camera in without delay.

Note where the problem shows

A damp patch, a slow drain, a smell — tell us where and when, it helps target the survey.

Call to book the survey

A fixed fee, agreed before we travel, gets a camera on site and a defect-coded report in your hands.

How it works

From First Call to Written Diagnosis in 3 Steps

01

Tell us the symptoms

Postcode, property type, what's happening. We use that to quote a fixed fee for a full CCTV survey.

02

Camera and coding on site

We run the camera the full length of the accessible run, coding every defect against its position.

03

Report and recommendation

You get the footage, a defect-coded report, and a repair recommendation that follows directly from what the survey found.

Camera down the drain within an hour of arriving, footage and a written report the same day. The insurer accepted it without a single follow-up question.

Kilburn, NW6 · 3 weeks ago

Two other firms quoted for excavation from guesswork. These lot surveyed first and fixed it with a liner instead. Saved us thousands and the front garden.

Margaret Ellison

Greenwich, SE10 · a month ago

The report showed the exact defect and its distance from the manhole. Our managing agent approved the repair on the strength of it. Very professional.

Tomasz Nowak

Chiswick, W4 · a month ago

Fixed price agreed before they travelled, camera survey on site, everything coded and explained in plain English. No upsell, no drama.

Sofia Marchetti

Islington, N1 · 2 months ago

Recurring blockage that three clearances never solved. The CCTV survey found a displaced joint at 6 metres. Repair done once, problem gone.

James Whitfield

Battersea, SW11 · 2 months ago

Booked a pre-purchase survey before exchanging on a Victorian terrace. The defect-coded report let us negotiate the repair off the asking price.

Diagnostic questions

CCTV Drain Survey: Common Questions

Do you do repairs, or only surveys?

Both. We are a drain company covering diagnosis and repair, but the survey comes first because it decides the right repair method (jetting, relining or excavation) rather than guessing from symptoms at the door.

Do you carry out drain lining?

Yes. Drain lining, also called no-dig relining, restores a pipe from the inside with a resin liner. We only recommend it once the CCTV survey confirms the pipe qualifies, and it is priced per section from what the footage shows.

What's actually in a CCTV survey report?

Footage of the full accessible run, defect codes and their distance from the access point, and a written summary — built to the standard a managing agent, surveyor or insurer can act on.

Can a survey help with buying a property or a dispute?

Yes. A dated, defect-coded report is exactly the kind of evidence used to settle a shared-drain dispute or answer a pre-purchase drainage question.

How long does a full survey take?

Depends on pipe length and access, but most domestic surveys are completed within a couple of hours on site. We confirm an estimate when you book.

Do you cover my area?

Yes. Our drainage engineers cover all 33 Greater London boroughs, so if you found us searching for a CCTV drain survey near me or a drainage company near me, a camera-equipped engineer is within reach. Send your postcode for an arrival window and a fixed survey price.

What happens if the survey finds nothing wrong?

Then we tell you and you have a clean, dated record of it. A survey that finds no defect is not padded into a repair recommendation you don't need.

Can you survey out of hours?

Yes, our emergency call-out includes survey-led diagnosis even overnight, with the same time-banded pricing stated before dispatch.

How do you price a survey?

The CCTV survey is a fixed fee agreed before we travel. See the pricing page for the current structure. Any repair is quoted separately once the survey confirms the cause.
